Porn is the elephant in the room. No-one wants to talk about it. But if we don’t give young people the opportunity to ask questions, how can they hope to find answers?
‘Object’ is Soulscape’s response to the issue of pornography. It is a challenging theatre performance that encourages open debate. Based on real-life research, it asks questions about the porn industry, about porn addiction and about porn casualties.
‘Object’ was seen by over 500 young people at school in our area this year, receiving positive feedback from both staff and pupils. At the time of writing, we are currently revising and rehearsing for performances in 2016.
