We’re excited to say that Soulscape is in the running for a Bags of Help grant from Tesco. It’s a scheme which gives community projects like us grants of up to £4,000 – the money comes from all those 5p carrier bag sales!
As you know, we’re a small charity working on a very tight budget – £4,000 would make a big difference to the amount of schools work we’re able to do next term. It will go a long way towards bringing our much-appreciated Inside Out mental health workshops to all the schools and young people who have requested them.
But to get the grant, we need you to vote!
How to vote
When you buy something from Tesco, you’ll get given a plastic token at the till – you use this to vote for your favourite community project by dropping it into a special voting box on your way out.
At the Tesco Superstore in Wokingham and Tesco Express on Greenwood Road in Crowthorne, Soulscape is one of the three local groups you can vote for throughout May and June. The group with the most votes at the end of June will be awarded £4,000.
So, when you shop in these two stores, please remember to put a token in the box for Soulscape!
