How we use cookies

Cookies are very small text files that are stored on your computer when you visit most websites. They cannot be used on their own to personally identify you.

If you do not wish to receive cookies you can easily modify your web browser to refuse cookies, or to notify you when you receive a new cookie.

This website uses cookies to:

  • Find out how people use the website, using Google Analytics. These cookies are used to track anonymous usage statistics and do not collect any personal information that can be used to identify you. We do not allow Google to use or share our analytics data. Google Analytics stores information about what pages you visit, how long you are on the site, how you got here and what you click on. Soulscape uses this anonymous information to make the website more user-friendly and see how effective our campaigns are.
  • Allow you to share pages with your friends on social media including Facebook and Twitter, using social media sharing buttons.

This website will not:

  • Share any personal information with third parties.

Donating to Soulscape

The donation facility on this website is provided by a company called Donorbox. By using the Donorbox application to donate, you agree that they may process your data in accordance with their Privacy Policy.

Any details Soulscape receives about your donations will be held securely, and never shared with third parties. If you choose to Gift Aid your donation, we are required by HMRC to store your full name and address for at least six years after your donation (or as long as your donations are ongoing). Your address details will be securely stored and we will not use them for any other purpose.

Our email list

We’d love to keep you in the loop with Soulscape. You can sign up to our email list in the footer of this webpage, and we’ll keep you updated with what we’re doing.

During term time, we send a very short update about once a week. We might share what we’re doing in schools that week, a bit of feedback from the young people we work with, information about a fundraiser or campaign we’re doing, or an opportunity to get involved.

How to unsubscribe

You can take yourself off the list at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email you receive from us, or by contacting us at contact@soulscape.org.uk.

Email list data protection

Soulscape will never pass on or sell your details to anybody else, and we will only use your email address to send you our updates. If you choose to give us your phone number, we will only ever use this to give you a quick call to update your contact details if your email address stops working – preventing us losing touch with you. If you unsubscribe from our updates, your contact details will be removed from our records. By signing up, you agree that we may process your information in accordance with these terms.

We use Mailchimp as our mailing automation platform. By signing up for our email updates, you acknowledge that the information you provide will be transferred to Mailchimp for processing in accordance with their Privacy Policy and Terms.
