To work with thousands of young people in schools every year, Soulscape relies on a big team of volunteers.
These great people come from all walks and stages of life. There are grandparents, students, professionals, parents, musicians, bakers, all sorts – and that’s the way we like it! We always need more hands on deck, so if you want to be part of something amazing, please join us!
If you’d like to join the team next year…
We’re looking for a Fundraiser to work 1-2 days per week helping organise and run events to raise vital funds for Soulscape’s work. If events are your thing, please see the role description below and get in touch.
If you can occasionally give a few hours…
For two weeks in July and one week in September, volunteers give a couple of lunch times or afternoons to Mind The Gap, befriending young people and helping them settle at secondary school. Pause volunteers prepare activities, help install and then run the project. For the rest of our projects, workshop volunteers help to lead creative sessions or discussion groups. All Soulscape volunteers working with young people receive training and support, and follow DBS disclosure procedures.
If you enjoy baking…
Volunteers bake in rotation, once every few weeks, making delicious cakes for the staff room. Teachers love this show of appreciation and care. (If you don’t bake, we need people to serve the coffee and cakes too!)
If you can’t volunteer, but you still want to be involved…
That’s great! If you pray, please remember our work and the young people we serve. Please share our website information, and explain to others what we are doing. And please consider supporting us financially. We rely on the generous support of churches and individuals for all the work we do, whether it be through one-off gifts, or regular giving.
In whatever way, we’d love you to join us!
