‘Creating Space to Explore Life’ is our strapline. So who would have thought that space is one of our most pressing needs!

Soulscape needs space!

Our volunteers know that equipment for PAUSE zones arrives mostly in stackable plastic boxes. These contain various items such as fairy lights, plastic building blocks, fishing nets, beads, clothes pegs and art materials.

Can you, or your business help?

For much of the year the boxes are stored, but after Easter they are checked, revised and carefully reorganised before being taken to schools. Last Summer PAUSE visited three secondary schools, where hundreds of young people took much-needed time out to relax and reflect. Next Summer, the demand for PAUSE is likely to grow and the crates will be well-used once again.

Ground-floor box-room or store-cupboard?

JAC (Just Around The Corner), King’s Church and Wokingham Baptist Church have kindly stored PAUSE and other project boxes for us, despite being short of space themselves. We extend our sincere thanks to them. But they can offer only a temporary stop-gap – indeed JAC’s premises are shortly to be bulldozed!

We urgently, therefore, require storage space. A ground floor store-cupboard or box-room in Wokingham that is dry and easily accessible would be ideal, but all helpful offers are invited! Please call Michelle to find out more on: 07930 507517. If you can help, we’d love to hear from you. Thank you!
